Category wise vacant Post: UR-9, OBC/MOBC-5, ST(P)- 2, ST(H)-1, SC- 1.

Educational Qualification:

i. Any graduate from a recognized University.

ii. Computer Skills for handling data, word processor, speed sheet, presentation Graphics etc.

Age Required:  Age of the candidates to be between in 21 years to 38 years as on 01-01-2019 and relaxable for reserved category candidates as per Rule. The upper age limit is relaxable by -

(i) 5 years for SC/ST candidates i.e. up to 43 years.
(ii) 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates i.e. up to 41 years as per Govt. Notification No. ABP. 6/2016/9 dated Dispur the 25th April 2018.
(iii) For Persons with Disabilities (PWD) candidates by 10 years and SC/ST/OBC or General Category of candidates as per Govt. Notification.

Scale of Pay: Rs. 14000/- to 49000/- PM with Grade Pay of Rs. 6200/- PM plus other allowances payable as per Government Rules.

Essential Criteria: Candidate must have a valid registration in Employment Exchanges in the State of Assam. and shall have PAN or Aadhaar Card or Voter ID Card.

This is for information of all concerned that following is the list of applicants for the posts of ‘Junior Assistant’ under the establishment of Commissioner of Taxes, Assam, whose offline application forms have been received at this office till the last date of submission of application forms as per Advertisement No. Janasanyog/D/2513/19 dated 18/07/2019 published in The Assam Tribune.

The applicants, whose offline applications have been received and names appeared in the list given by official website are now required to fill up an Online Application Form of the commissioner of taxes Assam Junior Assistant Posts which will be available on the official website www.comtax.assam.gov.in from 20/08/2019 to 30/08/2019. This Online Application The form is only for creating a database of the applicants who submitted the Offline Application Forms on or before the last date of submission. It is, therefore, to be noted that any person whose name has not appeared in the following list is not eligible to fill up the Online Application Form and such application, if submitted, will be summarily rejected. The applicants are required to scan the relevant documents given below for uploading before they start to fill up the Online Application Form. 1. Permanent Residentship Certificate of Assam OR Aadhaar Card OR Voter ID Card

2. Caste certificate / EWS certificate

3. Birth Certificate OR HSLC Admit card OR HSLC Board Pass Certificate as age certificate

4. PH certificate

5. Pass Certificate from Head of the Institution OR University Pass Certificate

6. Certificate of Employment Exchange Registration No.

7. Colored Photograph : (Size of the photograph must be less than 35 kb. Height of photograph should be 250 pixels and 320 pixels and width of the photograph should be of 150 pixels and 220 pixels)

8. Signature: (Signature must be below than 30 kb. Signature height to be between 100 pixel and 180 pixels and width of signature to be between 150 pixels and 220 pixels)

Selection Process for the Recruitment of Commissioner of Taxes Junior Assistant Posts: 

The selection process for the Recruitment of Commissioner of Taxes Junior Assistant Posts shall be through an OMR based written test of 100 marks in General Knowledge, General English, and General Mathematics. Based on performance in the written test, the candidates shall be called for computer skill test of 25 marks in MS-Word, Excel, and PowerPoint in the ratio 1:3. The final selection will be based on merit out of a total of 125 marks in respective category. In case of a tie of marks out of total 125 marks, the candidate securing higher marks in the written test shall be placed higher in merit. In case, the marks obtained in written test are also a tie, then the candidate senior in age shall be placed higher in merit.

Candidates Important note:

Incomplete and wrongly filled in application forms will be summarily rejected and canvassing directly or indirectly will disqualify the candidature.

Detection of any fake documents/ false declaration /misrepresentation of facts shall lead to rejection of candidature and will also be penalized as per existing Rules/Law.
