Online applications are invited from intending eligible Indian citizens as defined in Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India for filling up of the following DHS Grade-III recruitment posts in respect of 32 (thirty-two) ICU units in different dedicated COVID-19 Hospitals of districts under the establishment of Directorate of Health Services. Assam, in the usual Scale of Pay as per Assam Service (RoP) Rules 2019. As shown below. The Online Application will be available on the DHS Assam official website.

DHS Grade-III Recruitment 2020 Post details are given below:

1. Name of the post: Staff Nurse (Critical Care) No. of Posts: 640 nos. Educational Qualification required: 1. B.Sc. (Nursing) degree from Govt. of Assam recognized institute and must be registered under Assam Nurses Midwives & Health Visitors Council. Pay Scale & Grade Pay: Rs. 14000- Rs. 60,500 with Grade Pay of Rs. 8700/-.

2. Name of the post: Laboratory Technician (ICU Technician) No. of Posts: 128 nos. Educational Qualification required: 1. Laboratory Technician course from recognized institutions via GMCH. Guwahati, AMCH. Dibrugarh and SMCH. Silchar before the introduction of 2 (two) years Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician course from Govt. recognized institutes shall be eligible to apply for the post of Laboratory Technician. Pay Scale & Grade Pay: Rs. 14000- Rs. 60,500 with Grade Pay of Rs. 6200/-.

 
Required age limit: The age requirement for DHS recruitment 2020-

            Candidates should not be less than 18 years and not above 38 years as on 01-01-2020. The upper age limit is relaxable for 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC, ST(P), ST(H) Candidates only.

Reservation for DHS Grade-III Recruitment 2020:

            Reservation of posts for ST/SC/OBC (MOBC)/EWS/Women candidates and Differently Able (DIVYANG) candidates will be as per prevailing government rules.

Application fee required: There is no fee required for the application.

Note:-

1. Due weight age will be given for experience for serving in the Government Sector including National Health Mission (NHM) etc.

2. The number of the post to be filled up may undergo change depending upon vacancies.

1. Interested candidates shall have to fill up the application forms available at the official website of Directorate of Health Service, Assam.

Required document for DHS Grade-III recruitment 2020:

1. The following documents in original will have to be produced at the time of documents verification and photocopies of all certificates etc. are to be submitted.

i. 2 (two) copies of recent passport size color photograph duly self-attested.

ii. Birth Certificate / HSLC Admit / HSLC Board Pass Certificate for age proof.

iii. All pass certificate from Board/Council/Universities etc.

iv. Cast certificate (where applicable).

v. Permanent resident ship certificate / Domicile certificate (if any).

vi. PWD certificate / Differently abled Certificate (if any).

vii. Employment Exchange Registration certificate.

viii. Nursing Registration Certificate authenticated by the Register Assam Nursing Council (Wherever applicable)

ix. EWS Certificate as per government norms (Wherever applicable).

x. Laboratory Technician Course certificate (wherever applicable)

2. There will be OMR based Written examination for the above-mentioned posts and followed by Skill Test / Aptitude Test for all the posts separately.

3. Merit the list will be based on total marks obtained in the written and skill test taken together.

4. A detailed list of candidates for each post along with the details of the selection the test shall be notified in due course of time and shall be displayed on the official website.

5. Tie-Breaking of Marks: If two or more candidates obtaining the same total marks then the candidates obtaining higher marks in the written test shall be placed higher in merit. However again if the candidates obtain equal marks in written test also, then the seniority of the age of the candidates will be taken for consideration.
