ASSAM TEACHER ELIGIBILITY TEST (TET) RECRUITMENT 2019: [Lower Primary & Upper Primary]

Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) Assam: All the Eligible Candidates are invited to apply Online through Official website through https://ssa.assam.gov.in or https://sebaonline.org. Member Secretary, Empowered Committee on TET, Government of Assam State has published the advertisement for Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) 2019 for Lower Primary and Upper Primary level. Assam TET 2019 Examination will hold on 20th October 2019 and Online Apply for Application will start on 2nd September 2019. So interested or Eligible candidates are requested to see through TET Recruitment 2019 Official Notification carefully before applying.
a. The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam.
b. Candidate should have a minimum tutorial and skilled qualification as follows:
a) Senior Secondary or 10+2 (or it's equivalent) with score at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education
OR
Senior Secondary (or it's equivalent) with a minimum of five hundredth marks and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)
OR
Senior Secondary (or it's equivalent) with a minimum of five hundredth marks and a 2-year certificate in Education (Special Education)
OR
Graduation and biennial certificate in pedagogy (by no matter name is known)
OR
a) Graduation with a minimum of five hundredth marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) obtained from any, the recognized institution shall be considered for appointment as a teacher in class I to V provided the person therefore appointed because the teacher can ought to compulsorily bear a six month Bridge Course in pedagogy recognized by NCTE inside 2 years of such associate degree appointment as a primary teacher.
b) an individual United Nations agency is following any of the teacher education courses (recognized by the NCTE or the
RCI, because the case could be) per the NCTE Guideline dated eleventh Gregorian calendar month 2011, may also apply for TET. However, he can apply for an appointment only after acquiring all the required qualifications.
Remark: Candidate those who were admitted to D.El.Ed program before 31st August 2009 please refer to Clause B under subheading Relaxation.

Remark: Candidate those that were admitted in 1-Year B.Ed. program before thirty-first August 2009 please see Clause C underneath head Relaxation.
B. For Paper-I (LP Level) relaxation up to 5 % in HSSLC marks shall be applicable for candidates who were admitted in 2-Year D.El.Ed. before 31/08/2009 as per NCTE Notification No. F.51- 1/2009-NCTE (N&S) dated thirty-first August 2009 and qualified 2-Year D.El.Ed. subsequently.
C. TET 2019 General Information Government of Assam:

Education Qualification Relaxation for TET 2019:

Information about Examination for Assam TET 2019:
Duration of Examination TET 2019, Assam: 2 ½hours (150 Minutes) for Paper-I and 2 ½ hours (150 Minutes) for Paper-II. For visually impaired applicants an extra 20 minutes per hour will be added.
Minimum Marks Required for Qualifying TET 2019, Assam: A candidate is required to score 60 % i.e. 90 marks out of one hundred fifty to qualify the Teachers’ Eligibility Test (TET). However, for SC/ST (Hills)/ST (Plain)/OBC/MOBC/PWD (PH), there will be a relaxation of 5 %.
Negative marking: There will be no negative marking.
The question paper has the type of medium: Assamese, Bengali, Bodo, Hindi, English
Syllabus: The syllabus for Paper- I & Paper II will be available in the website http://www.ssa.assam.gov.in
