A voter identity card is only a document that identifies your identity as an adult citizen of the country and is mainly used for casting a vote in municipal, state and general elections. This is issued by the Election Commission, and it is also known as an election photo ID or EPIC. For other purposes such as applying for a SIM card or for a passport, it can be used as general identity, address and age proof.
The voter card of the passing Year was in color with black and white paper, but now the color laminated PVC card has been released in the format. This plastic card has one passport size photograph, date of birth and address. It also has a serial number with a bar code.

2. Pension documents with photograph
3. Authorization Letter issued to MPs / MLAs.
4. Driving License
5. Pan Card
6. Service Identity Card with the photograph issued by the Central / State Government employees.
7. Passbook with photograph issued by State Bank or post office
8. A smart card issued by RGI under NPR
9. MNREGA Job Card
10. Health Insurance Smart Card issued under the scheme of Labor Ministry.

The process to Voter ID Card apply online:
There are two ways to enter the voter list:
· During a door-to-door campaign by the authorized government officials, who are done once every 10 years.
· During the yearly revision, whose date is published by the Election Department.
ü In this case, the eligible person should obtain the relevant Form 6, 7, 8 and 8A from the relevant electoral registration officer or polling station in the concerned area or from the website.
ü, Submit duly filled form to the respective ERO or nominated officer. Then the applicant must present himself on the date of the hearing.
ü If everything is in order, then the applicant's name is enrolled in the voter list.

5. After you submit, you will receive a reference ID number, with which you can check the status of your card.
